Heyy there! I’m Kassandra, but most people call me Kass.
I’m really glad you found your way to my little corner of the internet. The Coffee Loft is my online home for the thoughts, stories, soft spirals, chaotic updates, and honest little life moments that need somewhere to land.
This space has shifted a lot over the years. What started as Chronically Unfiltered has grown into something warmer, cozier, and a little more me.
Think of it as a fictional café club for real life overthinkers, writers, stoners, romantics, gamers, readers, and anyone who likes their internet corners with a little personality.
So, let’s get properly acquainted.
I’m a 35-year-old millennial living in Saskatchewan, Canada. Sask, if you’re local. Land of Living Skies, dramatic weather, long drives, small-town energy, and sunsets that have absolutely no business showing off that hard.
Cannabis is a big part of my life now, but that definitely wasn’t always the case. I wasn’t a teen stoner. I wasn’t sneaking around with a joint behind the garage. Honestly, for a long time, I was pretty against it. That came from growing up with some very firm opinions around it, especially from my grandma.
It wasn’t until my mid-20s that I started seeing cannabis differently. Over time, it became less of this scary, forbidden thing and more of something that helped me slow down, think, laugh, relax, and feel a little more connected to myself. Now it’s simply part of my life. Something I enjoy. Something I talk about openly. Something that fits into my world without needing to be the whole story.
Because that’s kind of the thing about this space too.
Yes, cannabis shows up here. So does gaming. So does writing. So do movie nights, books, queer joy, internet nostalgia, life updates, random thoughts, cozy chaos, and whatever emotional side quest I’ve accidentally wandered into that week.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me getting way too invested in a video game, watching something familiar, working on a book idea, tweaking some corner of The Coffee Loft, or turning a small thought into a whole personality trait for the afternoon.
I used to describe this blog as a place for pondering, and I guess it still is. But these days, it feels more like documenting. Writing through life as it happens. Figuring things out in real time. Giving the messy, funny, honest parts somewhere to sit for a while.
At one point, I had plans to expand this into a podcast. That idea is still floating around somewhere in the back room, probably beside an iced coffee and a half-finished notes app list. For now, though, writing is where I feel most at home.
The Coffee Loft is still very much a labor of love. It’s a place I’m building slowly, one post, one idea, one little creative spark at a time. My hope is that when you’re here, it feels like somewhere you can just exist for a bit. No pressure. No pretending. No need to have everything figured out.
Just real thoughts, real stories, and whatever comes with them.
So grab your favorite drink, your favorite strain, your current hyperfixation, or absolutely nothing at all. Get comfy and stay a while.
Whether you’re here for the cannabis content, the lifestyle pieces, the bookish chaos, the writing updates, or just something to read while you’re avoiding responsibilities, I’m really glad you made it.
Welcome to The Coffee Loft.
Let’s see where this goes.
Turns out, giving your thoughts a home is a lot less chaotic than letting them run free in your head.
talk soon, kas ☕🌿
